In September, Cal-Trans showed up with numerous trucks and a hardworking crew on a Sunday morning to address the overgrowth of vegitation along Western Ave. This event was a welcome and pleasant surprize to many residents in the area. Cal-Trans did a wonderful job clearing the area from 19th St. to 9th St.

This cleanup was made possible by the coordiated efforts of our City Counselman, Cal-Trans & State and local leaders to provide the funding for basic Street Services and focused approach to helping to keep our streets clean and safe.
