The 2023 Membership Reception was held on October 1st at the Elks Lodge. The turnout from the community was impressive with an estimated attendance of over 200 people. Friends and neighbors spend the pleasant sunny afternoon enjoying each others company and catching up with one another. Food and refreshments were provided by our friends at the Elks Lodge while soothing jazz background music was provide by local southshores musician & his wife.

Community updates were provided by our City Councilman Tim McOsker, Supervisor Janice Hahn, Assembleman Al Muratsuchi. Updates were also provided the SSCA Board Members and our Senior Lead Officer Melody Shortle.

The South Shore community continues remain engaged with local events as demonstrated by the impressive turnout and recognized by our elected leaders.
