Friday February 6th

Over the last few weeks there has been much discussion and rumors regarding the future of the Little Sisters of the Poor property, next to Starbucks on Western Ave.  As of today, Friday February 6th, this is what is known.

  1. The existing operator of the property providing “sober living” services will vacate the property by 02/28/2026.
  2. Those senior individuals now in assisted living will remain.  Till when, is unknown.
  3. The Efforts of Fred Brown Recovery Services, Inc. (FBRS); now seeking public funding to take over the facility.
  4. This later action by FBRS, is NOT supported by our Councilman Tim McOsker.
