The South Shores Community Association (SSCA) Board of Directors held a special teleconference meeting to address association business not completed at the canceled March 28 Annual Meeting. Because of the COVID-19 crisis, legal action related to the election of board members and officers, and amendments to SSCA By-Laws for the 2020 year were acted on by the 2019 Board. The board approved the nomination committee slate for incoming board and officer nominees, and modifications needed to update the association By-Laws. THIS ACTION IS TO BE RATIFIED BY THE MEMBERSHIP AT THE NEXT SCHEDULED ANNUAL MEETING (when the pandemic crisis is considered controlled allowing for public meetings).

The existing 2019 board members were re-elected and Gordon Thomas joined as
a new board member. The By-Law revisions focused on the change of the association name (South Shores Homeowners Association to South Shores Community Association), scheduling the Annual Meeting, and setting the board size to a minimum of six members.
