The Sociables group is off to a stellar start with 18 participants. The next get together will be Thursday, June 30th.

The Sidewalk Brigade is doing an outstanding job in cleaning up South Shores. The next event is scheduled for Saturday, June 25th. The target area will be Western Ave.

Royal Palms continues to be an embarrassment for L.A. Harbor and Beaches in spite of changing security companies. The L.A. County Sheriff is lending support and assistance to L.A.P.D.

Attempts to address the oversized and code violation “For Rent” sign at 25th and Anchovy have been ignored so far by the rental agency.

Still no positive feedback or words of encouragement from Councilman’s Buscaino’s office other than “we have notified the proper agency::

  1. Sidewalk repair, posing continued safety hazard
  2. Alley repair, lower South Shores
  3. Tree trimming
  4. Western Ave. tree replacement and cleanup
  5. etc., etc., etc.
