I’m Richard Scandaliato, President of the South Shores Community Association (previously the South Shores Homeowners Association). As a resident of South Shores for 41 years and President of SSCA for the past two, I’ve met some of the nicest, most intelligent, giving people you can imagine: our neighbors.

SSCA is a non-profit neighborhood organization providing these services:
SSCA provides opportunities for neighbors to get together and fosters a sense of community and sharing of information. Our first South Shores Town Hall meeting was held March 25th, 2017 in the Bogdonavich Park auditorium.
Cyberwatch members now include well over 400 households. This service will expand to include demonstrations of how new technology can keep your home safer. Cyberwatch will continue to evolve to meet our challenging needs.
The SSCA team will continue its efforts to protect South Shores from outside interests seeking to over-commecialize South Shores at our neighbors’ expense. In recent years, the association has successfully thwarted re-zoning for construction of two high-rise buildings along 25th Street. In addition, SSCA has successfully opposed a parcel tax proposal written to unfairly target homeowners.
In the months ahead, there are many quality of life enhancements planned. We can achieve these only through your continuing support. Please see the information below for how to renew your membership.
